Hello! A couple of quick upcoming events in case you’re around – come say hi!
On Saturday May 25th I’m at London MCMComicon with a whole bundle of excellent scribblers. Not yet sure of the precise shape of the day, but if you’ve not been it’s well worth it, and the writer’s part of the event has got stronger and stronger every years. Also there’s trampolines built into the pavement across the water at Silvertown. Just in case, you know… you need a trampoline.
I’m in Romania at the start of June with the British Council for Bookfest in Bucharest! (Everything about that sentence is awesome.) I speak zero Romanian, but have been told there’s a place called ‘Chocolat’ that is the fulfilment of all my dreams somewhere in the centre of town. Find me there – or at actual events in the city!
On June 9th I’m at Cymera, Edinburgh’s first dedicated SF/Fantasy writing festival. I’ll be talking to Tim Major who’s novel Snakeskins should be hitting all good bookshelves around about now. My love for Edinburgh is pretty absolute. My love for Edinburgh when not there in order to tech a whole show in 5 manic hours of intense lighting – even more so.
And oh yes – this month the paperback version of the Gameshouse is published! Whoooooo books!!
