Merry Christmas 2013!

So, as Tim Minchin would point out, I don’t have much time for religion… some of the songs are nice, but the lyrics are dodgy…

But!  I do like Christmas.  This year, my Mum and my uncle and my boyfriend’s Mum are all coming round to my flat, and for the first time ever, I’ll be in charge of the Christmas dinner, which I’m informed is a stressful undertaking.  We’re forsaking turkey, partially because it’s a rather dull thing to eat, and a dull thing to cook, and partly because my oven is quite small.  Instead we’ll have something as equally indulgent, and wear silly hats, and swap presents, and watch Dr Who, and that, frankly, is what I figure Crimble should be about – being warm and together at the coldest time of year.
