From a Reasonable Height… Pt.2

The speculation has come so close that I figure I may as well add the final photo that solves this particular mystery…

Looking East…

Looking North East….

Looking North North East!

Can you see where it is yet?  Who’d have thought a Novotel would have such interesting views…

Y’know, that’s kind of spooky. My suggestion yesterday came as a result of walking past the Science Museum on the way back from Hyde Park going to the V&A, which is where I posted from, (the Mediaeval section, actually), and the scaffolded building and the red brick Gothic building looked really familiar. As it happens, if you’d put up one of the above pictures then I would have instantly got it as I was there a couple of weeks ago, in fact I mentioned it in your Hackney post; I was at the British Library and inside St Pancras as well, so that fabulous Gothic exterior and the utterly wonderful roof of the departure shed would have given the game away instantly. Nice one, Kate, that was fun, in fact I was studying the first pics earlier trying to triangulate with distant landmarks, like St Paul’s and St Mary Axe.
These photo challenges are SO much fun. :0)
