Curses, I thought it was further West, towards Chiswick and Hammersmith. I would never have thought of that part of London, it was the angle of the London Eye and the two light coloured buildings either side that threw me. Nice one, Kate, I really enjoy your photo challenges, despite living 100 miles to the west,
I feel I know our capital city well enough to be able to identify places from photos like yours. Obviously not true, but great fun all the same. More, please.

Alas, like a true git, I have no cunning prize, but it is indeed the Royal Opera House, looking vaguely South West… if you squint you will notice the London Eye, Tower of Westminster, Nelson’s Column and even, tucked away in one corner, one of the towers of Battersea Power Station… all, alas, at reasonable low resolution…

Royal Opera House? It has to be somewhere near Covent Garden, and the Opera House has a restaurant upstairs somewhere.

I reckon it’s the top of the Royal Opera House. I’m fairly sure it’s somehwere in Covent Garden, and I know the Opera House have some kinda restaurant upstairs.

Minx! That’s not fair, using low-res phone pics. Yeah, I know, you broke your camera, but still…
There’s something naggingly familiar about the location, but I can’t think why. Maybe a little Photoshop work, and more research using a bigger screen than my iPhone…

It’s not somewhere near the Oval, is it? Although that might just be the green roof below you making me think of cricket pitches…
