Hey, Kate, while this may not be the most appropriate place, it's your most recent post, so I thought ‘what the heck'. A friend of mine who reads SFX Magazine told me today that you had come third in the reader's poll for 2009 behind Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman! Congratulations, you won't get much better company than that, and for your first foray into adult literature too. Counting the days 'til Midnight Mayor arrives... :0)

[quote] It is extremely difficult for a liberal like myself to admit that sometimes, perhaps more often than we’d like to admit, the big decisions are being made by people who just don’t care about the bigger picture. Perhaps because to concede that, particularly when it comes to matters like the environment, is to look a little too deep at a future none of us want to live in.[unquote]
Trouble is, those that have the power to see and influence the “bigger picture" can only see a future that the rest of us wouldn't want to live in; one that sees vast tracts of green covered in grey concrete and Tarmac.
I can't comment on the theatre stuff, I have only been three or four times in my life, and I'm a live music kinda guy, really. Still like to read your blogs about it, tho'
Not long now 'till Midnight Mayor drops on my doormat: oh frabjous day!
