Kate, this is unconnected with Pericles, but if you hadn't heard, Midnight Mayor is featured in Wired Magazine UK edition this month, on page 59. A nice bit of advance promotion for the book.

Reading back through this post reminds me of a matinee production of Macbeth I went to at the Bristol Old Vic when I was at school. At the climax of the play, when Macduff (?), strides on holding Macbeth's bloody head aloft, the actor, having had enough of the heckling from the front rows, tossed the head over his shoulder, where it bounced neatly off-stage, bowed, flicked the 'V's' at the audience and marched off. I thought it was hilarious...

Heh, Jess, I think the first line needs a little attention, too.
Tho' I should talk, I spelt “bureaucrat" wrong several times in a previous post.
My excuse is the spell-check on my phone doesn't seem to function on here.
...and I'm going to stick to that. ;0)
to echo Jess, good luck with the production, it sounds fun.

*fails at English* Where'd I where'd I where'd I. Which isn't great English anyway, but is certainly better than my original comment. Sheesh.

Also - good luck!
